Date/Time
Date(s) - Fri 28th Nov, 2014
10:30am - 3:00pm

Location
National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh, , EH1 1EW

exterior7The National Library of Scotland is a treasure-chest of stories, both national and international. As such it is a living source of material for all kinds of writing. This workshop is in two parts: a behind-the-scenes tour of the Library with a curator followed, after lunch, by a writing workshop based on the morning’s experience. The workshop will be led by novelist and poet James Robertson, whose own work has often been inspired by research and chance discoveries in the National and other libraries.

This is a full-day event, lasting from approximately 10.30am to 3pm. It is open to anyone, free of charge, but spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
