The house, a cosy converted steading, has ten single rooms and one shared room. Accommodation is simple but comfortable and designed to provide the environment for nurturing your writing. Every room has a writing space, and most have a view of the local landscape. There are shared bathrooms in the house, three with showers and one with a shower and a bath.
Highland hospitality is served up in the well-stocked farmhouse kitchen and a welcoming sitting room with a wood burning stove.
The kitchen, two bedrooms, and communal spaces, as well as a wheelchair accessible wet room are situated downstairs. There is a hearing loop in the main house, and guide dogs are welcome. We can also provide mobility equipment, and course materials in braille if needed. For further information about our accessibility, please visit our listing on Euan’s Guide
A wifi connection is available, and there is a IT room with two desktop computers, a printer and copier and additional workspaces. Mobile signal can be sporadic but there is a payphone in the main house.
On the upstairs landing there is a fiction library.
