Sean Lusk is an award-winning novelist and short story writer. The Second Sight of Zachary Cloudesley, his debut novel, (2022, Penguin) was a BBC2 Between the Covers pick. His second novel A Woman of Opinion, about the life of the remarkable Lady Mary Wortley Montagu, was published in the UK by Penguin in July 2024. Described by the Sunday Times as ‘Witty, insightful and moving,’ it won the 2025 Saltire fiction book of the year. His new novel, No Place for Us is set in Europe and the Caribbean on the eve of World War Two, and will be published by Doubleday in February 2027. His short stories have won a number of awards, including the Manchester Fiction Prize, and have been broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
