WORKSHOPS
We organised five FREE songwriting workshops with FIRST STAGES tutors Michele Stodart and Boo Hewerdine in different locations in Scotland as well as one in London.
These nurturing workshops focused on form, melody, lyric and every element that’s involved in making a song. You can be working at any level and no experience is necessary; you don’t need to play an instrument. Please note, you can join these sessions as standalone events without joining the longer-term development programme.

FIRST STAGES is part of The Scottish Government’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI) which is administered by Creative Scotland. The YMI creates access to high quality music making opportunities, enables young people to achieve their potential in or through music and supports the development of the sector for the benefit of young people.
