A Poetry Workshop for all Abilities.
What beguiles you about summer? The stretching light? Dancing colour? The scents of warm dusk in a sheltered garden? Travelling? New horizons? New people? New homecomings? Glimpses of summers past? Summers yet to come? In this one-day workshop, we’ll explore what summer means to you, this time of growth, of possibility, so long celebrated in verse and song. Let’s add to the tradition.
Anne MacLeod’s first poetry collection Standing by Thistles was shortlisted for the Saltire First Book of the Year award. Her second, Just the Caravaggio was internationally acclaimed. She also has two novels published, The Dark Ship and The Blue Moon Book.
