Join us for an evening of words and music at Abriachan Village Hall, showcasing the work of Moniack Mhor’s Spring Residents, a new programme which will support eleven professional writers to develop their work during the month of March.  The evening will be an eclectic showcase of work from writers working in a range of genres including Canadian singer/songwriter and poet, Rodney Decroo, poets Marjorie Lofti Gill and Ken Cockburn, novelist Juliette Forrest and Lewis born writer and mentor, Donald S Murray. Work will be shared by the Moniack Mhor International Poet in Residence, Efe Paul-Azino, one of Nigeria’s leading performance poets and Scottish poet Stewart Sanderson, the 2019 Jessie Kesson Fellow.



Music will also be provided by  A9 Sessions band members Gordon Gunn  “one of the most exciting and innovative fiddle players of the times” and singer and guitarist Marc Clement whose “diverse style ranges from introspective and soulful to rocking and witty” .

This event is free, but you need to book a ticket.
