Is an original plot possible? Does a plot evolve in the writing, or must a writer begin with a clear plan?  This session will investigate the importance of plot and its possibilities, and suggest different ways of telling stories.

Cynthia Rogerson writes mainstream literary fiction, set in Scotland and California. She is the author of four novels and a collection of short stories. Her stories have also been broadcast on BBC radio, and translated into eight languages.

Free to all Highland residents aged 12 -18.
