This short retreat offers a chance to escape before Christmas to focus on your work in inspiring surroundings. With log fires burning and plentiful sustenance to fuel you through the day, Moniack Mhor provides a nurturing, winter get away for you to make real progress with your writing.

Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, Bettany Hughes is no longer able to join us for a guest lecture during the retreat. We are delighted that Cynthia Rogerson will deliver an optional workshop on editing and a short reading at the beginning of the retreat.

Cynthia Rogerson writes mainstream literary fiction, set in Scotland and California. She is the author of four novels and a collection of short stories. Her stories have also appeared in numerous anthologies, been broadcast on BBC radio, and been translated into eight languages.
