Join us for on 17th July to celebrate the Youth Led Fund at Kinning Park Complex in Glasgow!
Since April 2025, a Steering Committee of folk aged 19-30 supported by Moniack Mhor has created and delivered a fund for people aged 8-30 from all across Scotland, who have experienced isolation and/or marginalisation.
The fund closed in January 2026 and we’re now celebrating the creativity of the recipients of the fund. The fund’s steering group have created a day filled with workshops, fund recipients sharing their experience, insightful conversation between fund organisers of the youth led fund and Creative Scotland, demystifying the funding process and we’re closing the day with 6 performances from artists who have been supported through this programme!
There will also be an exhibition of creative projects funded by the Youth Led Fund.
This event is free to attend, but booking is required.
Food and Drinks will be provided and the event is open to anyone who has an interest in art made in Scotland, arts funding conversations and learning new skills.
We have a small travel bursary available, please do get in touch with us if you’d like support with your travel costs, youthfund@moniackmhor.org.uk
We are grateful to Creative Scotland for funding this project, Rachel Nixseaman from Deciding Matters for her facilitation work and the team from Kinning Park Complex. Our special thanks goes to the Youth Led Fund Steering Committee who drove all aspects of this fund and poured their energy into making these opportunities for other artists possible.
And of course thank you to everyone who applied to the fund!
