Non-residential Places FAQ

Due to the limited parking spaces available, we are only able to accommodate 1 small caravan or campervan at a time – please get in touch with us at info@moniackmhor.org.uk to check we can accommodate your vehicle.

Our parking spaces are unpaved and on a slope, so please take this into consideration before booking.

Unfortunately, we are unable to supply electricity or accept any disposal of campervan waste.

Unfortunately not. Our location is quite exposed and we are not able to provide you with access to showers.

You can visit sites such as VisitScotlandVisit Inverness Loch Ness or VisitBeauly for information about local accommodation options.

Workshops with your tutors usually start at 10am every day, sometimes a little earlier (the exact time will be confirmed at the start of the week). We would strongly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes beforehand to make sure you are at the Centre in plenty of time and to give you enough time to settle in.  You are more than welcome to arrive earlier to have breakfast, spend time in the garden or communal areas, or go for a walk.

You will have access to the garden and all communal areas, such as the Straw Bale Studio and the living room in the Main House, where you can write and relax. You won’t have access to a private desk.

Due to health and safety reasons, we require all non-residential guests to leave the building by 11pm every day.

Please see our Terms & Conditions for further information. If you have any further questions about our non-residential spaces, you can email info@moniackmhor.org.uk.
